Dufur - Mosier - The Dalles
Wasco county was established
in January of 1854 and is 2,396 square miles. It has a
population of over 22,500 and the county seat is The
Dalles. The development of the county has been related
to the Oregon Trail and to the position of The Dalles as
a crossroads for transportation.
